Travel Trails Season 2 by UP Tourism

Uttar Pradesh is like a microcosm of India, rich in diversity, which transcends all boundaries of art and culture and brings together a lively mix of people from around the nation. Whether it is the Taj Mahal of Agra, the Ghats of Varanasi, the colourful Holi celebrations of Mathura, the Kumbh Mela of Prayagraj, the archaeological artefacts of Sarnath or the tehzeeb of Lucknow, UP is replete with cultural diversity.

Don your thinking hats and embark on this journey to discover the solutions in Travel Trails, a digital marketing competition presented to you by Manfest-Varchasva in association with UP Tourism.

It is often said “U.P. nahi dekha to India nahi dekha”. Unlocking the magical doors of Uttar Pradesh to the rest of the world rests in your hands!

  • The event is open for all
  • No registration fee is required
  • Participating teams must consist of one to three members
  • No limit on the number of events one can participate in
  • Teams are required to register at unstop.com by 23:59 hours, February 05, 2024
  • There is no limit to the number of entries from a college
  • A person can register as part of only one team for one event. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification of the entire team
  • The decisions taken by the organizers will be final
  • In case of any dispute, decision of IIML’s Manfest-Varchasva Committee shall be final and binding.
  • Students are required to register at unstop.com in teams of one to three
  • Participants need to finalise their reels, publish it on their Instagram handles and request UP Tourism’s Instagram handle to be a collaborator (@uttarpradeshtourism). To be eligible for the competition, the contestants must follow and subscribe to all the social media handles of UP Tourism (Instagram: @uttarpradeshtoursim,Twitter: uptourismgov, LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/u-p-tourism/, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UttarPradeshTourism?mibextid=LQQJ4d), failing to do so will make them ineligible for the competition. The reels should remain posted for the next 10 days (at least) before evaluation for the next round begins. In this round the contestant will be required to make a reel based along the following themes - Agro Tourism, Eco-Tourism, Heritage Tourism, Monuments, Spiritual Tourism, Wellness Tourism, Rural Tourism, Jainism, Buddhism, Lifestyle, Yoga.
  • The video should be 30 seconds to 1 minute long and should be created in an aspect ratio of 9:16.
  • Video submissions will be judged on their creativity, audience engagement and innovation.
  • This is a qualifying round
  • Selected teams (8-10) from Round 2 required to accumulate the maximum number of likes, shares and comments on their videos.
  • Like, share and comment on the videos should be accompanied by a follow/like of UP Tourism's official social media page to be valid.
  • The winners will be decided basis of the likes, shares and comments garnered on the submitted videos. 
  • Brownie points for primary research.
